The Covington County [Mississippi] Genealogical and Historical Society is trying to locate old photographs of the Williamsburg area.
Those photographs include pictures of families, stores, the courthouse, and homes of Williamsburg in the 1800s.
The society also is seeking information on a W. Morgan buried in the Old Williamsburg Cemetery. This Morgan information was copied from a tomb for the Covington County Cemetery Book of 1976.

hELLO: Saw in the newspaper where Covington County Genealogical Society is trying to get information together on Williamsburg. I have copy of an old ad in the Simpson County newspaper where my GG Grandfather back in the 1800’s placed an ad for his blacksmith shop. Will be glad to send a copy to you if it will help. Vivian
We would love to have a copy. We have a chapter on stores and businesses in the book. I would list any information about the shop
