United States Birth & Christening Records Found at FamilySearch.org
UNITED STATES BIRTH AND CHRISTENING RECORDS FOUND AT FAMILYSEARCH.ORG – UPDATED AS OF 11 April 2013.
Note that many of the “number of records” are marked as AFTER a specific date. That means that additional records, in some some cases tens of thousands, have been added since that date, which is the last one found on the site (with lower numbers). So if you haven’t checked one of these AFTER dated websites lately, and it’s important to you, take a minute to go check it out. If the record is listed “AS OF” a specific date, the number of records are really “as of” that date.

It is great to see so many more records being digitized, and indexed by Family search. Now if both Ancestry and FamilySearch would closer together and give us the images of the originals…all of us baby boomers could get our family history together for the next generation before we go to the promised land. Then you wil have to keep up with the latest technology to give the future generations the same impecable information they will need to carry on. Do keep up the good work.

Of all things, I found this link and probably all your others today at From: bova-genealogy@cox.net

Subject: [NYONONDA] catalog of databases at FamilySearch.org
I will only reply to this one, but love what you have done to break out each section of the http://www.familysearch.org website. I use it often as well as my online genealogy subscription. This will go so much faster with your annotations. Thanks so much for your diligence in setting it up this way. What a boon for genealogists!

My mother just passed away at the age of 82. I am trying to find adoption records of her. All I know is that she was born in Oklahoma City OK on April 20 1930 and adopted in 1931 by Harry and Catherine Neidemire. It would be nice to know some thing else about the other side of my family especially if it deals with medical.
