World Vital Records is Three Years Old

October 1, 2009 marked the 3rd anniversary for World Vital Records. The brainchild of genealogy entrepreneur, Paul Allen (the World Vital Recordslesser), the site is currently boasting 1.4 billion names in over 12,000 databases – all available online at WorldVitalRecords.com. Initially, they made a commitment to add one genealogical database every business day. However, according to their Family History Bulletin of October 9, over the last year, they have averaged over 20 genealogical databases added each business day. I’m sure their many agreements with various genealogical publishers have strengthened that effort.
