New at NewspaperARCHIVE This Week

Check out NewspaperARCHIVE.com! In the last three days, NewspaperARCHIVE posted many new newspapers. While compiling this list, I noticed that the time period of about 1925 through 1929 is prevalent in these posts. Eighteen states are represented this time around. Iowa is again the clear winner when it comes to numbers of papers represented. Hmmm… Have I said that before? Well, considering NewpaperARCHIVES is an Iowa company, it does make sense…

I am pleased to again announce that the folks at NewspaperARCHIVE.com appreciate what we’re doing with GenealogyBlog, and are now officially SPONSORING this website. I’m very thankful for the support of NewspaperARCHIVES as well as the support of my readers who purchase their services.

  1. Hi everyone! I am the writer/content guy for NewspaperARCHIVE and just wanted to let the readers know that the main reason Iowa always receives such high numbers of page releases is that we are currently in the middle of an initiative, headed by the State Historical Society of Iowa, to digitize the majority of Iowa historical newspaper pages. Someday that will be done, and we’ll have greater focus on other states… but for now, lots of Iowa!

    Thanks, Steve

  2. Dear Leland,
I sure hope you get your flooding problem taken care of soon. I’m so sorry for your problems
