New French Historical Records at MyHeritage

My Heritage just announced that they have published a huge treasure trove of 463 million historical records from France in 5 collections, which provide the most comprehensive coverage available for birth, marriage, and death records from France in the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries.

When MyHeritage acquired Filae — a leading genealogy service in France — two months ago, they promised that Filae’s valuable and exclusive content would soon become available on MyHeritage. This release constitutes a significant portion of the historical record content on Filae; many of the records are exclusive and not available on other commercial sites.

The collections in this release include:

All of them include a high-quality index of transcribed records and beautifully scanned images of the original documents.

This impressive compilation is just the beginning of our work with Filae to make historical records from France easily accessible to genealogists all over the world… so stay tuned!

Thanks to my friend, Daniel Horowitz, for the above info.
