Family Roots Publishing contracted to continue the publication of the extremely important series titled German Immigrants in American Church Records when the publisher at Picton Press passed away in January of 2016. With Roger Minert as the editor, and BYU students doing the extractions, hundreds of thousands of Midwest German-Americans can now be traced to their German birthplace. For a bit of history on the transition from Picton to FRPC, see our blog post of July 2016. Note that most of the early volumes of the series can be found at Amazon.com.
Family Roots Publishing picked up the series with Volume 19, and recently completed Volume 25. The data for all these volumes is from Missouri – much of it from St. Louis. The next volumes published (starting with Volume 26) will be extractions from Ohio church records.
