Dinner With Randy

I had delightful time last night, as I met blogger Randy Seaver at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel about five and we made our way seaverdown to the Ruby River Steakhouse for dinner. I read his blog several times a day, and was very pleased that he had a free evening while in SLC to get together with me and talk shop for a while.

Randy blogs more than anyone else that I know. In fact, I find that now that he has retired from his “real job,” his full-time thing is blogging. What I’ve been impressed with is Randy’s interest in – and kindness to all others throughout the geneablogging community. To read his blog is to find out all the good things that the other bloggers are up to. Randy claims that he likes them all, and I do believe that he does. Once a week, Randy posts a “best of” blog linking to blogs that he felt were especially useful and/or insightful of the past week. That blog alone is always worth checking out.

If you haven’t placed Randy’s blog on your RSS feed, now’s a good time to do it.
