The Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum in Denton, Texas, Celebrates 30 Years

The Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum will reach a milestone in April courthouse-on-the-squarewhen it celebrates 10 years under the current management and 30 years as a repository of Denton County history.

“The last 10 years have been an exciting time for the Courthouse Museum and the other museums in the Historical Park,” said Dr. Georgia Caraway, executive director of the Denton County Museums. “It has been a time of tremendous support from the community and growth from one facility to four. The staff is looking forward to what the next 10 years will bring for the county museums. The citizens of the county should be very proud of the part they have played the past 30 years in preserving the history of Denton County.”
