ngsconferenceraleigh-logoIf you are considering attending the upcoming National Genealogical Society Conference, to be held in Raleigh, North Carolina, from May 13 through 16, you’d best be making your reservation. Registration fees for NGS Society members jumps from $195 to $230 on March 31 – that’s a week from Tuesday, folks.

You may register at: http://www.ngsgenealogy.org/cs/register_online.
Be sure to check out the NGS Conference blog a:t www.ncgenealogy.org/blogs/ngs2009.

Thanks to Sharon Tate Moody for reminding me of this deadline by putting a note about it in her March 22, 2009 column. This weeks’ column in Tampa Bay Online is titled, Female Kin Difficult To Unveil, and deals with the invisibility of many of our female ancestors.
