Immigration… A New Beginning – The 2009 South Dakota State Historical Society History Conference

  • Rose Fosha – “Immigrants, Emigrants, or Sojourners – The Chinese in South Dakota”
  • Gary Jerke – “Who Are the German Russians”
  • Jerry Wilson – “Homesteading the Prairie: Immigrants and Environmental Sustainability”
  • Dave Kemp – “The Irish Farmer in the West”
  • Norman Hofer – “The Migration of the Hutterites to Dakota, 1874-1879”
  • Dewaine Alcorn – “Genetic Genealogy”
  • Romaine Pesicka – “Czechoslovakians in South Dakota”
