The Cedrone – Tocci & Trimble – Ohmstead Family Blogs

A few days ago, Larry (Loreto) Tocci contacted me and asked me to take a look at blogs that he has produced on the Cedrone-Tocci and Trimble-Ohmstead families. cedrone-tocci-blogWishing to share the rich history of his Italian family, about two years ago he began restoring his family photos, further leading to restoring the family 8mm home movies, and eventually adding documents to a very nice online family history. There are over 1600 photos alone on the Cedrone-Tocci site. The blog details his father’s family (Tocci), and his mother’s family (Cedrone) from Ellis Island on. There are hundreds of restored images, hours of edited video, audio clips, slide shows and dozens of documents on the website. Larry also restored & documented a similar blog for his in-laws, the Trimble/Ohmsteads, Note that every document & video is available to download.

Click on photos to enlarge them; click on video links to watch numerous 8mm movies restored and now available on YouTube.

It can take a while to download the sites, if you’re not connected to a very good high-speed Internet connection. I’m working out of a Holiday Inn today, and using a rather slow wireless connection, so the Cedrone and Trimble sites took a couple minutes to fully load.
