NEHGS Washington D.C. Research Tour – Deadline Extended

wadcresearchtour2009NEHGS is sponsoring a research trip to Washington D.C. from March 8 through 15. That’s less than a month way. However, they’ve extended the deadline to allow more folks to join the tour. As we all know, Washington D.C. has a wealth of genealogical resources, and is a terrific research destination.

Expert NEHGS genealogists, Henry Hoff, David Allen Lambert and D. Joshua Taylor, will provide daily research consultations at three of the city’s top repositories for family history:

  • The Daughters of the American Revolution Library,
  • The National Archives, and
  • The Library of Congress.

Orientations are planned at each of the above repositories at the beginning of the week. Program registration includes two group dinners and complimentary group shuttle service between the host hotel and the three research locations.
