FamilySearch.org Going Through an Upgrade Process & Still Unstable

FamilySearch.org began upgrading to a new and expanded server system on March 7 at 11 pm. It was down for quite some time, then up, and so forth… As of Thursday, March 10, it was still buggy – and in attempting to access today (Friday), I haven’t ever been able to get access to the site. Others are reporting similar experiences.

So we’ll all just have to be patient until it’s working again. It’s said that “this system will not only have more capacity but will have a back up to take the place of the main servers if there are ever problems in the future. When this new system is in place, any future interruptions in service should be momentary.”

It dawned on me today how important FamilySearch.org has become in my life! I spend a lot of time there…
