Colorado State Census 1885 Images of population schedules listing the inhabitants of the state of Colorado. The 1885 census was taken with the assistance of the United States Government. – Browse 3,520 images – as of 2 Mar 2011

Florida State Census 1885Imaged – All counties then in the state are represented with the exception of Alachua, Clay, Columbia and Nassau. The 1885 Florida State Census is comprised of four schedules – Population, Agriculture, Manufactures and Mortality. Population schedules are available for all counties, but there are no agriculture, manufactures or mortality schedules for some counties. This collection coincides with NARA publication M845 – 110,863 Records as of 27 Mar 2010

Florida State Census 1935Imaged – This 1935 Florida State Census is an every-name list of the state’s inhabitants. The census is arranged alphabetically by county and then geographically by election precinct. All counties within the state are represented, although some election precincts are missing. The collection details include an estimated precinct locality that is based on the census precinct number within a county – 1,599.085 Records as of 28 Mat 2010

Florida State Census 1945Imaged – This 1945 Florida State Census is an every-name list of the state’s inhabitants. The census is arranged alphabetically by county and then geographically by election precinct. All counties within the state are represented, although some election precincts are missing. The records are segregated by race. The collection details include an estimated precinct locality that is based on the census precinct number within a county – 2,249,138 Records as of 27 Mar 2010

Illinois State Census 1855 – Name indexes for the Illinois State Census taken in 1855. The census names the head of household. Schedules do not exist for the following counties: Carroll, Champaign, Franklin, Gallatin, Henry, Jefferson, Jo Davies, Lake, Stark, Will, and Woodford – 256,004 Records as of 1 Mar 2011

Iowa State Census 1885 – Name index of the Iowa state census taken in 1885. The population schedule names every person in the household – 503,573 Records as of 25 Jan 2011

Massachusetts State Census, 1855Imaged – This project was indexed in partnership with the New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS). Name index and images of population schedules listing inhabitants of the State of Massachusetts in 1855. 155 images from Suffolk County are missing and will be forthcoming (953961) – 261,883 Records as of 15 Apr 2010

Massachusetts State Census 1865 – Name index and images of population schedules listing inhabitants of the State of Massachusetts in 1865. This project was indexed in partnership with the New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS) – 304,814 Records as of 29 Mar 2010

Minnesota Territorial Census 1857 – Imaged – Browsable images of the population schedule listing inhabitants of the Minnesota Territory in 1857. NOTE: “All entries for the following newly created [23 May 1857] counties were fabricated to cover voter fraud: Cottonwood, Jackson, Martin, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, and Rock. (For further information see Robert J. Forrest, ‘Mythical Cities of Southwestern Minnesota,’ Minnesota History, 14 (1933), pp. 243-52).” This collection coincides with NARA publication T1175 – 3,983 images as of 22 Nov 2010 – There is an 1849-1905 searchable ($) index at Ancestry.com however.
