Day Three of RootsTech 2018

We started the day with the general session which featured the day’s sponsor, FindMyPast, and Scott Hamilton. Scott told his story today. He told the audience that this is the first time he’s ever given this talk, one about family… in more ways than one. He had us in tears. What an inspiring story. The guy is a gold-medal champion ice skater, for which we all know him. But he’s also a cancer survivor, many times over! He and his wife, Tracy have two children – and two adopted kids from Haiti. Tracy has been there 27 times! Scott’s moto is “The only disability in life is a bad attitude.” Scott spent the afternoon doing book signings.

Again, the classes were amazing. And the exhibit hall was absolutely ovewhelming. I was really pleased that Family Roots Publishing products were prominantly displayed and being sold in the Family History Expos and Books and Things booths. Many thanks to Holly, Arlene, and Bob.
