UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Indiana Marriages 1811-1959 – Indexed in partnership with the Indiana Genealogical Society. Name index of marriages recorded in the Indiana Territory and in the State of Indiana between 1811 and 1959. This collection includes searchable index data for marriage returns and licenses from the following counties: Adams, Allen, Bartholomew, Benton, Blackford, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Clark, Clay, Daviess, Dearborn, Decatur, De Kalb, Delaware, Dubois, Elkhart, Fayette, Floyd, Fountain, Franklin, Fulton, Gibson, Hamilton, Harrison, Hendricks, Henry, Huntington, Jackson, Jay, Jefferson, Jennings, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Lake, Lawrence, Marshall, Ohio, Owen, Rush, and Sullivan. Microfilm copies of original records are available at the Family History Library and at family history centers. Currently this collection is 64% complete. Additional records will be added as they are completed. – 1,881,110 records as of 7 July 2012 – up 32,597 records since 10 June 2012.

NEW DATABASE Nevada, County Birth and Death Records 1871-1992Imaged Records – Images of county birth and death registers and certificates acquired from county courthouses. This collection does not include Carson, Carson City, Churchill, Clark, Elko, Lake, Lincoln, Mineral, Pershing and Washoe counties – 14,425 images as of 10 July 2012.

New York Orange County Probate Records 1787-1938 – Browsable Images – Imaged Records of probate records and estate files from the Orange County Surrogate’s Court in Goshen, New York. At this time this collection does not have a name index or any finding aid. – It is published by volume and year range – 720,561 images as of 10 July 2012 – up 38,009 images since 5 June 2012.

Oregon, Douglas County Records, 1852-1952 – Browsable Images – This collection includes deed records and indexes, 1852-1920. It also includes marriage records and indexes from 1913-1952. This collection is being published as images become available. – 140,557 images as of 10 July 2012 – up 48,742 images since 11 June 2012.

NEW INDEX AND ADDED IMAGES Texas Deaths, 1977-1986Imaged Records – Images of Texas statewide death certificates, including delayed certificates, from the Texas Department of State Health Services in Austin. Additional certificates will be added to the collection as they become available. Certificates for 1978 are currently posted by county. – 78,411 records and 1,005,872 images as of 10 July 2012 – up 160,962 images since 15 June 2012.

BillionGraves Index – Name index of burial records courtesy of BillionGraves.com which is an expansive family history database of records and images from the world’s cemeteries, all tagged with GPS locations. Volunteers around the world capture images of headstones in a cemetery and upload them to the site – 1,367,211 records as of July 7, 2012 – up 386,296 records since 24 May 2012.

CANADA

Saskatchewan, Probate Estate Files 1887-1931 – Index and images of estate files from Saskatchewan judicial districts. The estate records contain loose papers relating to the settlement of estates including such matters as provision for heirs including minor children as well as distribution of funds, land and property. This project was indexed in partnership with the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society – 41,261 Records and 1,944,561 images as of 6 July 2012 – up 6,261 records and 41,170 images since 10 January 2012.

Ontario Marriages, 1869-1927 – Index to marriage records from Ontario, Canada. Ontario Registrar General. Ontario Marriages, 1869-1927. Library and Archives Canada, Ottowa, Canada – 609,175 Records as of 6 July 2012 – up 245,711 records since 14 January 2012.
