ISFHWE Now Accepting Entries for Their Annual Exellence-In-Writing Competition

The International Society of Family History Writers and Editors (ISFHWE) annual Excellence-in-Writing competition is now accepting entries for the 2012 competition. Members and non-members of ISFHWE are eligible; published items (categories I and II) must have been published in 2011; for categories III-V, the work must be original and unpublished.

An “early entry” discount applies to entries received before 15 April 2012. ALL entries must be received by the coordinator no later than 3 June 2012. [ISFHWE membership is $15.00/year.]

Winners in each category will be awarded a cash prize and a certificate. The awards presentation will take place during the Federation of Genealogical Societies Conference in Birmingham, Alabama (29 August-1 September 2012). All dates for this year’s competition are a change from prior years.

This year’s contest coordinator and judges are ineligible, as are last year’s first-place winners in their winning category.
