FamilySearch Blogger’s Day

A number of bloggers, myself included, will spend the day at the Joseph Smith Building in Salt Lake City, hosted by FamilySearch. We expect to see products and projects demonstrated and will give feedback to our hosts. I expect it to be VERY interesting, and will report on what we learned.

  2. Leland, I have just joined Twitter, and was looking up my niece, Lauren Meitzler, and your name came up with a geneology search attatched! Well, I am a Meitzler, daughter of George W. Meitzler of Savannah, GA. Would love to see if we have a family connection. My Dad worked on geneology years ago, but I’m not sure how far he got. My brother has all his records. My email is lauri62fl@yahoo.com. Look forward to hearing from you!

  3. Laura,
I’d love to exchange information. My Meitzler line in America goes back to my great-grandfather, Karl (Charles) Meitzler, who came to America from Kriegsfeld, Rhinepfalz (Germany) in 1849. A lot of Meitzlers came from the Kriegsfeld area, although nor necessarily to America.
Patty and I live in Bountiful, Utah, and my email is: Lmeitzler@gmail.com. Let’s exchange our info using email.
    Great to hear from you!
    Leland K. Meitzler
