Google Now Has a Count for How Many Books There Are in World – Nearly 130M

It seems that the Google folks would like to know how many books they are attempting to digitize, since their goal is to digitize all the books in the world…

Using a complicated formula, which reads for paragraph after paragraph on their “Inside Google Books, they have come up with a number.

When you are part of a company that is trying to digitize all the books in the world, the first question you often get is: “Just how many books are out there?”

…we can finally count all the books in the world. There are 129,864,880 of them. At least until Sunday.
