Genealogy In Time

Genealogy In TimeA relatively new online genealogy news service called Genealogy in Time is now available. I just ran across it today, and was favorably impressed with the content. It calls itself a free online magazine, and while I wouldn’t call it a “magazine,” the website does contain short articles dealing with items that have been in the news, as well as a Latest Genealogy Resources section that deals with new genealogy records available on the Internet.

Sponsored by MissingLink Software Corporation, out of Ottawa, Ontario, the site looks like it will be another resource for genealogists wishing to keep up on what’s going on, as well as the latest in online genealogy resources.

  1. Actually, there are full length (and free) genealogy articles as well at the bottom of the Resources page. Perhaps we should move them to their own page if they are not very visible….

    Regards.

  2. I am one of the biggest fans of the Genealogy in Time newsletter. They do a wonderful job and it has helped me a lot. I am currently the lead person for a small group of Seniors who get together once a month for three hours to discuss the where, what, and how’s of finding someone’s history. None of us are professional researchers and ours is a self help group of +55’ers, several do not even use a computer, their work is done by old method research and hand notes. As lead I try to get something new to show the group to help them and your magazine has been one of my biggest sources. My problem is the few who do not own a computer. I can show them articles and now have permission to print some out for the few who do not have a computer. The group that have computers have signed up for the newsletter but most are still book, pen & pencil researchers.
