Helen L. Hutt (1925-2009) Warren County Genealogical Society Past President Passes On

The following was received this morning from the Warren County [Ohio] Genealogical Society.

We are saddened to learn that past president Helen Hutt passed away at Sycamore Hospital on Tuesday, January 20th. Helen was a 20 year member of the Warren County Genealogical Society and served the society in many ways as long as she was able. Helen was involved with the Society when we obtained our 1st permanent home in the basement of the old court house. She served as the president of the society in 1994 and again in 1998.

Helen L. Hutt, age 83, of Waynesville, OH; passed away on Tuesday January 20, 2009 at Sycamore Hospital. Helen was born in Wolf Lake, IN on June 22, 1925 to Earl and Edna (Johnson) Hindman. She was active for 20 years with the Warren County Genealogy Association. Helen was preceded in death by a son Michael Hutt and a sister Janet Copper. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Ralph Hutt; a daughter LeeBelle Hutt of Lebanon, a son James and wife Moriah Franklin of Lytle, a daughter-in–law Doris Hutt of Franklin, 5 grandchildren, and their children and grandchildren; a brother Ralph Gilman and wife Jan of Middletown; a sister Emma Hindman of Miamisburg; and numerous nephews.

Funeral services are Friday January 23, 2009 at 2 pm at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Please visit www.anderson-fh.com to sign the family guest book.
