Water Flooding the Meitzler Office

We’ve been getting lots of rain the last 48 hours – and water is coming in the back and has pretty well saturated the carpeting in the office. Thus far the rest of the basement hasn’t been touched. That includes the library and genealogy room. (about 1200 sq. feet). We are taking everything out of the office and moving it to other rooms. Blogging may be light for several days. This will be my last blog before tearing out the computer systems. Will report when we’re back up – and I’m sure that will be in a temporary situation out of the genealogy room. Wish us luck…

  1. Leland it is hard to realize that SLC receives enough rain to cause flooding problems! I hope you and Patty are doing alright and that the rain passes quickly. I’ll keep checking the blog for your status and am hoping to read that you have good news to report or you have started construction on a dike around your house!
