Help Leland & Patty Celebrate Their 49th Wedding Anniversary with 25% Off Genealogy Books at

Okay – this sale idea isn’t new. We did this for our 45th Wedding Anniversary with great success. That was while we still lived in Bountiful, Utah. Now we’re living in Orting, Washington again and figured it was time to do a big Internet Only sale again – but only from today August 31 through Tuesday, September 5. Our Anniversary is Friday September 1. We were married in Puyallup, Washington in 1968 when we were just children – or darned close to it!

All products that we stock and ship from the Orting Family Roots Publishing operation are on sale at 25% off. That includes both hard cover and soft cover versions of the German Map Guides; Swiss Map Guides, and the Luxembourg Map Guide. It includes the soft cover and PDF versions of all of the Dollarhide-authored titles. It includes the new Muller and Wagner books – the new Pomerania book – the new German Census Records 1816-1916 volume (hard and soft cover & PDF) – and about 2000 other titles!

Books not covered by the 25% off sale are what we call drop-ship titles – books that are printed on demand and are shipped by their respective publishers. These are titles we don’t normally stock in our Orting warehouse. Included are the Family Map books, and any book with a “D” at the end of the item number.

The selection of titles on sale this weekend at the website is the most we’ve ever offered on a sale of this nature. Books, maps, and all kinds of things are available at 25% off – through Tuesday, September 5. Click on the links or the illustrations to order. This won’t happen again for a long time – so celebrate with us this weekend, and get the aids to find more ancestors.
