We are so looking forward to the 33rd Annual Salt Lake Christmas Tour this year. Lots of exciting research opportunities are in store for all who attend. The Salt Lake Christmas Tour is the genealogy research trip where you can find ancestors quickly! The Tour is renowned for the genealogy research success of its attendees, many of whom come back year after year. The 33rd annual Salt Lake Christmas Tour will take place on December 3 through 9, 2017. Most attendees will fly in on Sunday, December 3, and fly out on Sunday, December 10.

The Salt Lake Christmas Tour has been highly successful because it has the highest ratio of professional researchers to attendees of any genealogy research tour using the Family History Library. You can research your ancestors with the help of experienced professional genealogists. The Salt Lake Christmas Tour is known for the quality of the professional genealogists that work with the attendees on a daily basis – Monday through Saturday. The Christmas Tour typically has professional genealogists available for consultation from 9 am until near the time when the library closes.

Not only can the attendees research with professional help in the library, but genealogical education opportunities go on all week long. From 8 in the morning until about 9 pm in the evening, classes are presented on all kinds of genealogical topics. This year a DNA track has been added that will run throughout the week. Taught by Regina Negrycz, attendees will not only have the opportunity to hear her lectures, but they will get one-on-one help in analyzing their DNA test results!
