Macworld Reviews Reunion for iPhone App

reunionforiphone Macworld has just published a review of the new Reunion for iPhone app. They give it four mice out of five. That’s a good rating, but not good as they gave Reunion 9 for Mac itself in 2007. Most genealogists agree that Reunion is currently (and always has been) the Mac genealogy software to beat. Although there are competitors, none has yet been able to match the functionality of Reunion.

At the iTunes Apple App Store, you’ll currently find 30 reviews of the Reunion for iPhone App. Twenty-nine out of 30 of the reviews give the App a five star rating, with only 1 at four stars, so it’s obvious that actual users are thrilled with the product. It may not do a true sync with your desktop Mac, but genealogists are still in love with the freedom from the desktop, and sheer quantity of data that they can now carry in their pocket.
