The Historical Society of Pennsylvania is proud to partner once again with Ancestry.com, the world’s largest online genealogy website, to bring Ancestry Day to Philadelphia. This full day of genealogy lectures will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on Saturday, March 15. More than 600 people have already registered, and we are expecting a crowd of more than 1,000! And NEW THIS YEAR: the Historical Society of Pennsylvania is opening its research library the Friday prior to Ancestry Day to all Ancestry Day registrants (with free library tours, lectures, document display of family trees, and more!)

Genealogy is one of the fastest growing hobbies in the country, and this event attracts people from all over Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and surrounding states, to help them search for information about their ancestors.
