The Wells County Public Library in Bluffton, Indiana has two online resources that genealogists 
need to be aware of. First, they have an online Bluffton Obituary Index that runs from 1866 through the year 2000. Secondly, the Cemetery Index for Wells County, also accessible online.
The Indiana room houses a number of excellent genealogy references, including the Bluffton newspaper on microfilm from 1866 as well as birth indexes 1883-1920, and marriage indexes 1837-April 12, 1980.
The library will reproduce obituaries and mail them on request for $3 prepaid.
