Maine Genealogical Society’s 2009 Conference – Sept. 26, 2009

I received this “Call for Exhibitor’s” this morning, and although Maine is a world away for this Utah fella’, I’m sure there are others out there who would like to attend, exhibit, or advertise at this upcoming event. Note that I’ve started a new category called Calls for Exhibitors.

Maine Genealogical Society’s 2009 Annual Conference
Saturday, September 26, 2009
Bangor Civic Center, Bangor, ME

March 19, 2009: We invite you to join us and to save the date for the Maine Genealogical Society’s annual fall conference on Saturday, mainegensocconf2009September 26, 2009 at the Bangor Civic Center, Bangor, Maine. We are still in the process of finalizing the fall conference details but we did want you to have an initial overview now as you begin plans for this year. Please check out the conference site at: http://www.maineroots.org/index.htm .

As has been our recent tradition of being as geographically accessible to our members as possible, we are headed back to the north-central part of the state this year. We will have another great selection of programs and nationally recognized speakers expecting to draw well over 200 attendees.

This year to further encourage and support our exhibitors and vendors, we are scheduling unopposed Vendor/Exhibitor time to allow our attendees plenty of free time to visit your space without feeling that the need to rush off because they might miss something.

Enclosed is this year’s registration form to either register for a vendor/exhibitor table, to place an ad in our syllabus or to donate handouts, flyers or door prize(s) for our conference attendees. All contributions will be recognized on our web-site and in the conference syllabus.

We appreciate your support of the Maine Genealogical Society and our efforts to promote and encourage interest and scholarship in genealogy and family
history in the State of Maine.
