New Salt Rock, WV Library includes a Genealogy Section

The Salt Rock, West Virginia Library was cramped in the Elementary School for years. Now all library materials have been moved to a new facility across the street at 5575 Madison Creek Rd. And the new library includes a genealogy section! The Grand Opening is January 11.

I hope to come visit your library soon. My grandfather was born in salt rock and I would love to see the town. His name was Leslie Bates, son of Sam Bates.
