Free Southern States Research Series to be Held at the Family History Library April 14

Free Research Series on Southern States Research
The Family History Library Hosts Events in April.

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH⎯Genealogists and family history enthusiasts looking for help with research in Southern States will be interested in classes held at the Family History Library in April. A free Southern States Research Series will be held on Saturday, April 14, at the Family History Library. The classes will include:

  • 9:00 a.m. “Effects of History on Research”
  • 10:15 a.m. “Basic Land Records”
  • 11:30 a.m. “Burned Counties Research”
  • 1:15 p.m. “Virginia, Land of the Lost”

To view the class schedule online, go to www.familysearch.org. Classes will be held in the Main floor classroom of the Family History Library. The library is located west of Temple Square on West Temple between North Temple and South Temple Streets in downtown Salt Lake City. On Saturdays, parking is free to library patrons and is located behind the Church History Museum.
