Rapper 50 Cent to Trace South Carolina Ancestry In VH1 Documentary

Rapper 50 Cent will trace his family roots in South Carolina when he is featured of VH1‘s documentary, The Origin of Me, next month.

In the documentary, the Queens MC will travel to Edgefield County, South Carolina, where the rapper’s family lived before moving to New York in the 1950s.

In the airing, Fifty Cent will reportedly meet with descendants of the slave-owners that owned his ancestors.

The episode of The Origin of Me featuring 50 Cent will premiere on May 23 at 9 pm EST on VH1.
